Scott Corwon founded IMPACTS in 2005 to build what conventional consulting and conventional software could not:

the founder ]

I started IMPACTS with a narrow conviction and a wide refusal.

The conviction was narrow and absolute: that the decisions a society cannot afford to get wrong — those taken under adversaries, uncertainty, and irreversible consequence — deserve instruments engineered to the standard of the stakes, not the standard of the demonstration. The refusal was its mirror: never to concede that a confident interface and a correct system are the same thing. Confidence is cheap. Correctness, under pressure, is the only currency that clears.

Most technology is built to impress on its best day. The instruments that matter are built to hold on their worst — the hour when the data is contested, the authority ambiguous, the timeline collapsing, and the price of error is paid not in a dashboard metric but in a mission, a life, or the trust an institution spent a century earning. We design for that hour, and treat every other day as its rehearsal.

So the work is deliberately narrow, governed, and accountable to its own evidence. Proof before power. Provenance behind every claim. Permission held apart from capability — so that nothing acts merely because it can. We do not chase the frontier for its own sake; we make it safe to stand on. And the studio stays quiet by design: in this discipline, the work is the only signature that cannot be forged.

That same discipline now runs in the open market. SINGULARIS — our flagship acquisition intelligence — is proof‑before‑power and provenance applied to the hardest commercial problem there is.
